,What do I want to do: Rooms that are timeless Fulfilled at All Times.“

Hugo Pratt

Ardi Goldman He learned early on that memory is primarily a commitment. The legacy of his father, the house management company „Benjamin Goldman Nachlass“, became the foundation of his work. But for him, it is about more than just buildings. It is about attitude, about filling spaces with meaning.

His properties are deliberately designed. Spaces with atmosphere where art, history and society intertwine. At the 25hours Hotel The Goldman he has dedicated 48 rooms to people who have shown courage. Heroes without intention, role models without pathos. Each room tells a story. Three of them are dedicated to resistance fighters during the Nazi era. One is dedicated to Ardi Goldman Fritz Bauer the former public prosecutor.

During his research, he came across prosecutor Joachim Kügler, who, together with two other prosecutors, represented the prosecution in the first Auschwitz trial in Frankfurt. When he Ardi Goldman learned that the late Kügler, who had died in Fritz Bauer 2012, had a strong desire to be buried in Frankfurt but could not afford it, he posthumously arranged for the transfer to a memorial grave in 2015 and invited people to a memorial ceremony at Frankfurt Main Square.

The Frankfurt- Ardi Goldman based real estate developer is the son of a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Buchenwald concentration camp. In 1967, he survived the car accident that killed his father and his two sisters.
The legacy of his father, the „Benjamin Goldman Foundation,“ the real estate management company that formed the foundation of his extensive creative work in the real estate sector and which he has further developed, is both an obligation and a task for him.

Ardi Goldman tells the stories of „heroes“ in order to preserve the memory of them, because they are sources of inspiration
They can remind us of what is important. In doing so, they follow Kästner’s conviction:

„Only those who grow up and remain a child also remain human.“

Goldman is a master of subtle evasions. His trademark is creating oases of longing and irritation in public spaces. His real estate developments are spaces that tell stories. Places where memory meets the present and art. Even on his Union-Gelände“small city in the city,” his masterpiece and legacy, history comes alive. Here, past and present, art and architecture, memory and the future merge into an organism. The art is part of a dialogue between space and people. The works are like puzzle pieces of a larger narrative that reassemble themselves anew with each visitor.

Goldman collects from a sense of belonging. He does not look for big names, but for works that move him, that tell a story and generate resonance. Each work on the site helps the Union to be experienced and „taken along“. A place that leaves an impact. An inspiration that remains. Intrinsic motivation. People should be inspired to become active themselves, to create something new, to move others, not by external incentives, but by an inner drive that remains. His wish: to plant a seed from which a tree will grow. „Millions of flowers on thousands of branches have a stem with a root,“ as Raimund Stecker so poetically formulated. A living structure that grows with every individual. For each visitor leaves their mark and tells the stories further. The Union is more than just a place; it has a soul.

Ardi Goldman He does not collect strategically or for profit – but out of a sense of duty. His decisions are not guided by market trends, but by an inner compass. He does not look for big names, but for works that touch, provoke, and move.

Every single work of art on Union-Gelände display contributes to the atmosphere of this special place. It is about making the Union experienceable – not just seen, but felt. As a place that makes an impact. That inspires.

Goldman believes in the power of intrinsic motivation. He wants to encourage people to become creative themselves – not because they have to, but because something is stirred up in them. His attitude: Those who are touched carry something forward.

His goal is to plant seeds from which new thoughts, new ideas, and new connections will grow.

„Millions of flowers on a thousand branches have a stem with a root“

– this sentence by Raimund Stecker describes Goldman’s vision of a living structure that is constantly evolving.

The Union is an expression of this attitude. It is more than a place, more than a project. It is a space with a soul – open to change, driven by conviction and ready to tell a new story with every person who enters it.

The Ardi Goldman Art and Culture Foundation has a soul – and it is not shown in words, but in attitude, choice, and love of detail.

Nothing in this place is random. Every hopeful prospect, every story, every work of art was carefully selected – Ardi Goldman personally, together with his team.

It was a long process of research, intensive discussions, and repeated weighing of the pros and cons – not a quick decision. Because anyone who is to carry hope must be chosen from within a certain attitude. It is not about hero images, but about people whose courage shines brightly even in the darkness.

The works of art that shape the site also do not follow a decorative theme. They are expressions – not of taste, but of meaning. Each work is part of a larger narrative, a fragment of memory, an impulse into the future.

In this way, a place is created that is deep, dignified, and soulful.
Because only what comes from the heart can also touch others.
Only in this way is memory brought to life. Only in this way is hope tangible.
